I haven't seen the movie, but...

I know if I do, the words, "Oh, sheeeit," are going to echo for all the wrong reasons, make me laugh at all the most horrible and sad scenes.

I applaud this.

I don't think he ever actually says oh shit, but he does say I was saving that bacon and there is no god. To this chick.
And stuff.
It's a good movie.

DEATHWORM DEATHWORM

Rated 2.5 / 5 stars December 8, 2007

A bit too short

It's a fun game, although the space-bar mashing mechanic can get old rather quickly. I wish there was more to it than just one level, such as perhaps a goal for each mission, and things to avoid eating while being a giant world-eating worm of d00m.

Drive me Crazy Drive me Crazy

Driving me Crazy

This is making me crazy. Why? I've never rapped a day in my life, and this is making me re-evaluate my day job. Killer stuff. I think Supended was talking about your mallet action during the first chorus. I have to agree and say your higher frequencies are getting too much face-time. I personally think the kick is plenty solid, and it definitely lasts long enough (the release) to carry the rhythm. I'm a big fan of syncopated hi-hats, so judos on those. I think your piano could have used a little low-register lovin', especially to make up for the lack of a dedicated bassline, naw'mean? Oh! At the very end, the breakbeat you do with the snares is way too quiet. It almost sounds like you're embarassed to use it in a hip-hop song. :) Bring it out, and give it the attention it deserves. Sync'd rhythms are great on the dance floor, and any g-ster with flow knows exactly what to do with them. At any rate, this is a great piece, and nice to see you back in the hip-hop game. Thanks for dropping that line, I really appreciate the support!

See you on the grounds,
-Nate

P.S. I definitely smell a collabo.

Oh, that's pretty sweet

This is my favorite of yours by far. The melody is very entrancing, and your drumwork as always makes me jealous. I'd love to remaster/rearrange this, with your permission. Drop me a line sometime, if you please.

Great work!

Schism and 2 Schism and 2

Rated 4 / 5 stars April 29, 2008

Man...

I'm not familiar with the song by any means, but this wasn't bad at all. I love that drum loop. I mean, it's absolutely infectious. I'm jealous. Gimme the loop. D:

GiJoe92 responds:

hah. i'm glad you liked it!

i regret never putting cymbals in it. i lost the saved track on FL studio, recently so this is all i have left of it. i hope you recreate and remix this song someday in the near future. we'll see how that goes
